What to feed your night time visitor

A dish of meat-based cat food and a shallow dish of water left out in the evening will be most welcome by your visiting hedgehog. Try to give 'loaf style' cat food if possible eg: Whiskas supermeat. Do not give any fish varieties or anything in gravy as it gives them an upset tummy. Other little titbits to give are: cooked chicken, digestive biscuit, crushed bird nuts or raw minced meat.

Do Not give a hedgehog milk as it is very bad for them. They are unable to digest the lactose in it.
